Dear Parents,

This winter season has truly become a great success for our community. None of which would have happened without the support everyone has shown our league. For that, we are truly thankful. We knew that this season was going to be special from the start, from the high attendance on Opening day to the tremendous response to our D-Fenders Clinic and Game event.

As you well know, this season, the Walnut NJB board and the Los Angeles D-Fenders have partnered together to provide our kids with a great basketball experience. The D-Fenders have been extremely happy and excited with the support that our small community has demonstrated and to show their appreciation, they have committed in assisting our league with positive influence and interaction for our players through years to come.

What this means is that the Walnut NJB community will be receiving the following:
• Annual Clinic's held at Walnut Teen Center Gym
• Special Guest Appearance for Opening Day
• Exclusive events and games held at the Toyota Center and Staples Center
• Court time for kids in the Staples Center and Toyota Center Floor
• D-Fender / Lakers double header games for next winter season.

In addition, we have decided to add another event to close out our phenomenal season and to help celebrate our new partnership with the D-Fenders. This once in a lifetime opportunity will occur on Feb 21, 2010 Sunday at 2:30pm (Click here for Flyer).

The Walnut NJB will have the opportunity to participate in the following:
• Court time for the kids prior to D-Fender game
• Watch the D-Fenders vs. Thunderbirds game
• Q & A with Coach Chucky Brown
• Autograph Session with D-Fender's Players
• PHOTO OPPORTUNITY WITH THE 2009 LAKERS CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY

We have attached a copy of the flyer for more details. Please respond quickly since this event only has a 300 seat capacity and huge turnout is anticipated.
