COACH INFORMATION

REGISTRATION (Clinic, Divisional, All-Net)

- All Head and Assistant coaches must register on-line with NJB Headquarters. Select the Walnut Chapter.

CERTIFICATION (Clinic, Divisional, All-Net)

- All Coaches, including Assistants, MUST be NJB certified. This means attending an NJB sponsored clinic and being fingerprinted by an NJB approved facility.
- Fingerprinting is via the LiveScan method which is offered during an NJB clinic.
- Currently NJB only accepts fingerprinting performed at one of their clinics.
- If you are fingerprinted through your work or another organization, it does not count.
- Coaches will be reimbursed by WALNUT NJB for fingerprinting costs at an NJB clinic.

PLAYER EVALUATION (Divisional)

PLAYER DRAFT (Divisional)

- Draft schedule is TBD
- Draft rules TBD
- Players may be contacted and practices started immediately after the draft.
- PLEASE contact your players as soon as possible. Do this even if you will not be starting practices right away.
- ALL PLAYERS MUST BE CONTACTED PRIOR TO NOVEMBER 7th.

TEAM ROSTER (Clinic, Divisional, All-Net)

- Detailed team rosters (name, address, phone numbers, etc) will be handed out to each divisional coach as they leave the draft room. A generic version (no personal info) for general public viewing will be available shortly after the draft.
- Please check your roster for completeness. Have parents check the generic roster for correct name spelling as the same list is used for participation awards. Forward any corrections to player agents.

EQUIPMENT INFO (Divisional)

- Each team receives two NJB basketballs (distribution details TBD) to be used for practices.
- Coaches should maintain a small first aid kit for cuts/scratches.
